Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to personal data when you read Pilates Glossy or write to us. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who is responsible
Pilates Glossy (pilatesglossy.com) is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us about anything in this notice at studio@pilatesglossy.com.
What we collect
When you read the site. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or social media widgets. Like every website, our server and our content delivery network (Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site) process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is needed to deliver the pages and to keep the site secure (legitimate interests). Server logs are deleted after 14 days.
When you use the contact form. We store your name, email address, the topic you chose and your message, so we can read and answer it (legitimate interests, or steps you ask us to take). Messages are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted, unless a conversation is still going on.
When you follow the RSS feed. Your feed reader requests the feed like any other page; we learn nothing else about you.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider and Cloudflare process data on our behalf under data processing terms. We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone else, and we do not use it for marketing. Some processing by Cloudflare may take place outside the UK and the European Economic Area, under the safeguards set out in its data processing terms.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing or ask us to restrict it. Write to studio@pilatesglossy.com and we will answer within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority where you live.

Readers get no cookies from us. See the cookie notice for the one cookie our editors use.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of the page.
